Mate tea and cacao nibs create a delightful blend that combines the invigorating properties of traditional South American mate with the rich, chocolatey goodness of cacao and the best Brazilian nut - Cashews. This recipe is not only a delicious treat but also a great way to energize your day. Perfect for those looking to explore unique flavors, this drink offers a perfect balance of caffeine and antioxidants.

Ingredients:

- 250 ml of brewed mate tea

- 1/4 cup of cacao nibs

- Ice cubes

- Sugar (to taste)

- Cashews milk (or the milk of your choice)

Ingredients for cashews milk:

1 1/2 Cups of soaked raw cashews

7 cups water

1/4 cup coconut cream

1 tbsp of vanilla extract

3 pitted dates (honey or maple syrup to taste)

1 tsp sea salt

Instructions for the milk:

1.Soak the milk over 4h, afterwards strain and rinse until water runs clear.

2.Add all ingredients to high-speed blender for 2 minutes.

3.Store in the fridge in airtight container up to a week.

Instructions for your Mate:

1. Brew Your Mate Tea: Start by brewing 250 ml of strong mate tea. Let it steep for a few minutes to enhance the flavor.

2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl or pitcher, combine the brewed mate tea, the cacao nibs, milk and sugar according to your taste preference.

3. Add the milk: Stir the milk of your choice for a creamy texture. Adjust the amount based on how sweet you want your beverage.

4. Serve with Ice: Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour your mate mixture over the ice.
